About Trustee Area 5

I am proud to live in and run to represent Alum Rock's Trustee Area #5! Area #5 includes Linda Vista Elementary School, the Alum Rock and Foothills Neighborhoods, and the neighborhoods on Mt. Hamilton Road. The district is best represented in the map below - see it for details!

You may notice this map is new for the 2026 election. This summer, the Alum Rock School Board quickly voted to redistrict Alum Rock into a by-district election area rather than an at -large election, meaning each Trustee would run for a small geographic area rather than districtwide. The change took effect for the November 2026 election.
